Copyright ....................

I'm pretty laid back as a photographer and often let things go, but recently something has been bothering me and that is my customers perception of what copyright means in terms of the Photographs I take.    To be fair I think we all presume we know especially when the subject is a loved one or our adorable pet.  It has never bothered me until I had a couple of images brought to my attention ....... so I decided I should write a blog on the subject until I came across this perfect article on the BANPAS site .....

So if your not sure take a read and remember we take pictures not just because we love it but because we have bills to pay such as studio costs, insurance etc ...  its worth a quick read!

The start of 2018

The start of 2018

Welcome 2018

Well its the first of February and we are officially back.........

January is usually the month I take off, regroup, go to the Societies of Wedding and Portrait Photographers convention and sneak in some training.

It's also the time that I look at new products and of course the dreaded tax return.  All sounds a bit paper heavy right?  Well this January hasn't been all work and no shooting (in the photographic sense of course)

Lennox started the year off (well actually he creaped in on the 31st December) but as he was officially the wild card winner from the 12 days of Christmas draw he is starting the year off.  Winners of the draw we will be contacting you all in the next few days so watch out!

What can I tell you about Lennox, other than he is a wee miracle, born far far too early and being seriously ill from birth this little man is a true fighter and was an absolute pleasure to photograph.  He just took it all in his stride.

Lennox was the first of a few but we will be giving them their own little mention in due course - after all Lennox deserves to have this one just to himself ....

New Website

Well it had to be done  .... even though it has taken a while, mainly because I hadn't found the solution I wanted.   why not take a look around.  It comes along with other changes.  I am cutting back and only covering studio work including boudoir and a limited amount of weddings going forward - so no more pop up photo booths or commercial work.   Following on from this years weddings in Cancun I am now offering destination weddings with Cuba and Las Vegas already in the diary for this 2018 and 2019.

My product offer has changed with a new album supplier and various other products whom I cant fault for customer service and reliability.

The rest of the year is looking busy with two more weddings, quite a few babies due  and numerous family shoots already in the dairy.  We have just a few dates left now for any Christmas shoots if your looking for images for Christmas .......
